Loving Questionably

Here’s how this initiative will help us with our mission to love God and love people between 2015 and 2016:

LOVING OUR FAMILY AT RIV’S HOLT VENUE…

  • by renovating our RivKids wing to increase security (protecting our little kids) and more effectively use the limited space we have to tell them about God’s love for them.
  • by developing a master plan for our 84 acres, including a driveway to College Road – our dream is to use the space in a way that benefits the community and creates an inviting atmosphere for those wanting to check out Christianity.
  • by increasing our ministry staff to help care for all the people God is bringing to us.

LOVING OUR FAMILY AT THE MSU…

  • by creating a weekend service environment that  engages the broader MSU community.
  • by developing systems that connect “olders” in our church family with college students.

LOVING OUR FAMILY AT THE REO TOWN VENUE…

  • by completing the exterior of our building to fully integrate our facility into the REO Town community.
  • by finishing the installation of needed technology to both run our weekend services and provide a fully functioning banquet center for the community.

LOVING THE LANSING AREA…

  • by launching our 4th Riverview venue in the Greater Lansing Area. Many people are still driving a considerable distance to one of our three venues and both our Holt and REO Town locations are often nearing or above capacity in attendance.
  • by hosting more world class events (Parenting Conference, Riverview Speaker Series).

LOVING MICHIGAN…

  • by planting churches through our Church Planting Residency.
  • by helping to plant 12 churches through our partnership with Acts 29.

LOVING MEXICO…

  • by mobilizing 150 Riverview members to work with Back2Back Ministries in Mazatlan.

LOVING EAST ASIA…

  • by translating the Bible into the language of an unreached people group and launching a network of churches.
  • by partnering with like-minded organizations and churches to support existing church networks.
